ABOUT WIM MOLDENAERS
After finishing a master degree in economics and a graduate degree in computer sciences, Wim Moldenaers started his career at the end of 1991 at the IGP pooling network and was employed at John Hancock’s (the leader of the IGP network) EMEA office in Brussels, Belgium. After a couple of years, he moved into the account development team responsible for IGP’s UK based multinational clients and later on also became responsible for the Scandinavian multinational market.
He then changed jobs and moved to London to work for Thomson Financial Services (TFS). Upon his return to his home country, Belgium, he become responsible for TFS offices in the Benelux and Scandinavia.
He returned to IGP in 1996 to focus on the EMEA offices of IGP’s North American and Asian multinational clients. He became the head of that account development team and he joined IGP’s management team about 10 years ago.
Today, he is also responsible for the relationship management with several of IGP’s Network Partners in Europe and Africa, and he reports directly to Peter de Vries, the Head of the IGP Network. He is part of IGP’s product development team (captive and global underwriting) and the secretary of IGP’s Advisory Board.
